Remodeling Turned Relationship

When you hire a remodeler, you buy a service not a product. That’s what Zionsville’s John Notarianni discovered when he hired Steve Gray several years ago for his first of now many home remodeling projects. Since then Steve and his team have upgraded HVAC systems, painted interiors/exteriors, created not one but two outdoor patio areas and much more. When asked why the Notarianni keep calling Steve again and again, John quickly outlined four main reasons:

Integrity and honesty. “When you tell Steve what you want, he’s great and adds his ideas to make it better. Then he prepares a detailed work bid using due diligence estimates down to the nails and boards. There are no surprises on the cost of the overall project.”

Quality. “Steve has the best people. They are all professional from plumbers to electricans to material representatives.”

Oversees the work.
“When there is a job underway Steve is here every day. He takes notes and follows up on every detail. In our first renovation the new electrical plates were white and the old around the house were cream. Steve changed them all to be consistently white throughout the house.”

Easy to find.
“If you find something you don’t like and call Steve, you hear back right away and it’s taken care of. If there’s a change that needs to be made from the original decision, he tells you the cost and the decision is made.”

Cleans up extremely well.
“When our outdoor patio was going in there was a lot of dust related to stone cutting. One day a few guys showed up to power wash the back of the house. We didn’t even know they were coming. It’s always that way when we work with Steve.”
