Clean up!

It’s one of the most important topics of focus at a Steve Gray Renovations' job site.

How important?
We write it into our sub-contractor agreements, we host organizational meetings about it and we have raving fans talking about it (that’s the cool part we didn’t expect).

Check out our slide show to see how we keep things clean on the job. DIY’ers check out our tips to see if you pick up a few ideas for your next job. Happy cleaning!

Raving Fans

“When our outdoor patio was going in there was a lot of dust related to stone cutting. One day a few guys showed up to power wash the back of the house. We didn’t even know they were coming. It’s always that way when we work with Steve.”

Zionsville’s John Notarianni

“I appreciated how the SGR work crew left the site each night. It was immaculate. I’m pleased with Steve and his crew. I’m calling him as smaller things come up through his handyman service,” says Nancy.

Indianapolis’ Nancy Sinclair (who lived in her house during a kitchen renovation)

There are several “must-have” items at every SGR job site. If you don’t have one, put it on your list. You never know when you’ll need it.

Shop Vacs - Don’t start a job without one. Wet-dry vacs clean up almost anything from saw dust to paint chips. We always have one handy.

Tarps - We put these down at the entry to every home where we’re working. No homeowner wants dirt and debris carried into their house. We’ve even placed them over flower beds and under ladders where we’re working. You can never have too many.

Plywood - It’s multi-purpose! We’ve cut and lined walkways and drives with plywood where we’re driving heavy equipment to keep mud from caking onto asphalt. It sure makes clean up easier during those cold winter months when you can’t turn on a power sprayer.

Indianapolis Star
Steve recently offered advice to Indianapolis homeowners on radon detection and prevention in the Indianapolis Star. If you missed it and want to know more check out the article on our Web site.

550 List
Steve Gray Renovations has been named to Remodeling magazine’s 550 list as one of the nation’s largest full-service remodeling companies. The Remodeling 550 is a list of the largest remodeling and home improvement companies based on residential remodeling revenue for 2008. Steve says, “This is really an awesome nod to our company. We founded the business with the philosophy to bring professionalism to the remodeling industry through honesty, integrity, quality and craftsmanship. While the 550 recognition shows growth through revenue, the fact that our customers send us referrals and call us to do more work on their homes means we’re growing the bottom line by fulfilling that philosophy every day with every client.”

Super Bowl Bowling Tournament
Steve Gray Renovations is sponsoring the Greater Lawrence Chamber of Commerce annual Super Bowl Bowling Tournament slated for October 18 at Hindel Bowling Lanes, 6833 Massachusetts Avenue, Indianapolis. Contact the Chamber office to register and for details.
